Santhosh Metri joined Bureau van Dijk as the head of IP products in 2015. With 10 years’ experience in intellectual property, specializing in patents, trademarks and design rights, Santhosh has worked in strategic roles and has been influential in key IP decisions and commercial strategies. He has specific expertise in IP strategy and portfolio management, IP monetization, brand protection and management. He has recently stepped up to be part of the product strategy team working as Director of Product Strategy managing M&A and IP Solutions globally.

Following graduation as a software engineer, Santhosh worked in the IP industry before pursuing a master’s in innovation management from the University of Manchester. He further developed his legal skills by pursuing a second master’s in IP law and management from the University of Strasbourg. He has worked with companies such as Infosys, Accenture, Evalueserve, Honeywell, Kenwood and Iceberg Capital Partners.
